There are many organizations you can give your money to, but we thought we would narrow it down to our favorite two. Your donation to one of these organizations will go the farthest in providing immigration equality for all Americans. Plus...they are fiscally prudent.

ImeQ.us does not accept donations of any sort, but if you are serious about helping us in our struggle(in addition to contacting your congressional representatives) there are two great organizations that fight for our cause every single day. While there may be others, these are our personal choice. Note: Before you write us (again), Immigration Equality, Inc. and Human Rights Campaign do not even come close to getting on this list.

National Center for Lesbian Rights is one of the most effective advocacy groups in the country. While many gay rights groups are concentrating most of their time and energy fundraising, NCLR is actually busy making changes in our lives and doing ground-breaking and strategic work. They are a group of highly intelligent and motivated attorneys (both male and female) whose work is fresh and worth getting excited about. If you're looking elsewhere for help regarding your LGBT immigration or asylum case...don't! National Center For Lesbian Rights is your first and last stop with unmatched legal work. Period. Take it from two gay men who know the truth and don't be fooled by the others.

Out4Immigration is a volunteer grassroots organization that addresses the widespread discriminatory impact of U.S. immigration laws on the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and HIV+ people and their families through education, outreach, advocacy and the maintenance of a resource and support network. These folks work tirelessly everyday advocating for immigration equality for all Americans and bringing awareness to our immigration struggles. Their visibility and heartfelt hands-on work is truly inspiring. Other groups (whose names might end in Inc.) talk tirelessly about being "grassroots" only to raise your hard earned money, but Out4Immigration has broken away from the status quo and is busy walking the walk. They are our heroes and the true meaning of a very active grassroots organization and deserve our endless support.
